Bruce Willis was one of the Media and drama good articles, but it has been removed from the list. There are suggestions below for improving the article to meet the good article criteria. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake.
Although health status obviously affects the career of a public person, and Bruce Willis' health decline became known via trouble in his work life, it's a mistake for it to appear only under the "2020s: Critical decline, health problems and retirement" section, but be absent from the Personal Life section. It could easily be re-worked to balance both sections, and would strengthen the article. I came to Wikipedia today to check on his health status, and was surprised to not find it in his Personal Life section, which is the logical place to put it. Do the usual editors of the article approve? Denstat (talk) 23:58, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Atomic Scorch@Denstat I agree it is a problem and that nothing has been done about it for a long time now.
Unfortunately the health status is intrinsically linked to his career, while also a personsal matter. I haven't seen a "for more deacription, see the career section" type link in an article before. It is not efficient to repeat all health details in both the career and personsal life sections. It is misleading to have a brief mention of the health status in the personal life section as readers won't know it is covered in career. I don't know how to proceed, but at least it is mentioned in the lead. Commander Keane (talk) 00:30, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
