Pro-Europeanism
[edit]Some clarity needs to be drawn here. Is this a question of "pro-Europeanism" or "pro-European Union". Political parties can be pro-European, and anti-EU. User:RoverTheBendInSussex (talk) 15:39, 21 September 2016 (GMT)
Why is their no moniker in the side-column at the top clearly indicating that the SNP is "pro-EU"/"Remain party"?

Also include the national vote % for the House of Commons elections.
[edit]It is a national election so I think it's important to include both the results they got in Scotland and the UK overall. I already made the edits necessary but want to make sure I have agreement. Politicsenthusiast06 (talk) 19:18, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- You do not have agreement, it is a UK/GB wide election across all the Nations that make up that political Union. SNP only stands candidates in Scotland Pugpa2 (talk) 22:30, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- MPs from Scotland have no special status or specific powers over just Scotland. Yes the UK is a "Nation of Nations", but it is still a national election to the national Parliament. I agree the Scotland numbers should be included too because they only run there, but the national results are more important to showing their overall power. Also the placement is already shown for Scotland and the UK as a whole. Politicsenthusiast06 (talk) 01:42, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- No consensus appears to be the position Pugpa2 (talk) 12:23, 3 February 2025 (UTC)

- @Politicsenthusiast06: I suspect you'd likely get the same resistance at other such UK political party articles, where they run only for the UK House of Commons seats in their constituent country. PS - I won't revert you again, should you choose to restore you edit to this article. GoodDay (talk) 18:03, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
